Driving through beautiful Tuscany

Our holiday with Annika and Andrew was over all too soon and it was time to say Goodbye to the Marina di Pisa and take them back to Pisa airport.
Jeff and I started our next adventure exploring the Tuscan countryside. We chose to drive on the small local roads through fields of Sunflowes, lush forests and hill top villages.
The first town we stopped at was San Gimignano a very ancient hill top village. We embarrassed ourselves by driving into the town (where only locals can go) and finding ourselves in rather a tight spot in a very narrow deadend street.Jeffs magnificent driving skills maneuvered us out.As we were leaving two other cars were making the same mistake.
We enjoyed an hour or so exploring. The town is completely geared for selling to tourists which put us off a little.
