Northern Ireland

On Saturday 3rd of August we were up and out the door by 6am heading by train to Gatwick Airport from where we flew to Belfast.
First stop was to Andrews Grandmother Murielle who had very kindly offered us the use of her car during our stay.
Next stop a Resturant for breakfast a 'Belfast Fry'a huge plateful. No need to eat for the rest of the day.
We then viewed Belfast from the top deck of a Belfast Tour Bus with an informative commentary. We even had to stop for the Marchers with drums and whistles. It was hard to believe we were in the middle of it all.
The next day Jeff and I did the tour again as there was so much to take in.
Andrews family home is on the boundary of Stormont Park, the Northern Ireland Parliment.A very grand building.
Jeff and I had our own personal guided tour round the building learning of its history.
We had wonderful drives through the lush Irish Country side and to the seaside,Cloughe,Portaferry,Crawfordsburn and Newcastle.
We were really struck by the friendliness of the locals, everyone likes to stop for a chat, share a joke and offer advise to travelers.
