Our arrival at the Marina marked the start of our one week holiday with Annika and Andrew. Annika found and booked us a very comfortable appartment just 30 meters from the beach.
During the afternoon we familiarised ourselves with the appartment and made a very exciting visit to the local supemarket.What a treasure trove.I managed to fill the shopping trolly with no trouble at all (and only five Italian words in my repotoire.)
With an antipasti platter prepared and the Procceco chilling it was off to Pisa International airport to pick up Andrew and Annika.
The next few days were spent on the beach and exploring the town under perfect blue skies and in very warm temperatures.We also tried some of the local Pizzarias and tasted the best Pizza ever!
